It's that time of the season again. Something about the fall that just makes me want to rock a mean mix.....I think it could be the crisp cool air or the apple pie....not sure though. Anyway, this one is chock full of great upcoming Spatula City Flapjack releases as well as other of my favorite labels. Check it out and I hope you dig!

Spatula City Records is splendidly surprised to present:

SPAT018: The Sound Diggers
"Full English EP"

A1. Lowdown N Blue
A2. Lowdown N Blue (Inland Knights Downlow Mix)

B1. Dance Like This
B2. Jazz Shit

We're on #18 already?!?! So much for giving up on vinyl eh ;) Spatula City is proud to present an EP from our pals over on the other side of the pond: The Sound Diggers - "Full English EP". Originally appearing with his smash hit "Jazz Shit" on SPAT008 - "The Four Piece Set Vol. 1", Justin Critchlow of the Midlands, UK, blew our ham pants off with his bouncey style of breakfast house. Now he is back with a full english breakfast comprises of all the fixins to start your day off with some jack in your step.

"Lowdown N Blue" is a rolling gravy train with biscuit wheels! This tune incorporates some Kansas City blues cuts like I have never heard before with a 3/4 blues breakdown that makes people holla for mercy everytime it plays. To compliment this course, UK house favs Inland Knights step up to the plate and deliver a wicked funky slappin the sauasge bassline remix that just strawberry jams!

Flip the skillet over easy and you find "Dance Like This", another rolling breakfast bouncer that moves from the front to the fat back bacon. Nothing tastes better than some phatty bacon. My mouth is watering. Last but not least is the return of "Jazz Shit". For those of you who missed a healthy portion of this cut of meat, we are giving you a second chance. So head on up to the buet counter and come git you some!

This fine release is now available digitally at the following locations:

This fine release is also still available on vinyl at the following locations:
